Frequently Asked Questions
When should I expect my report?
Reports are typically completed within 3 business days of receiving all necessary information (e.g., testing, records, collateral information). In most cases, this means 3 days after the evaluation, though some evaluations will require additional records/information before completion.
Do you accept insurance?
Dr. Marek currently is in-network with the following insurance plans: Cigna, Aetna, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas. If you are needing a pre-surgical psychological evaluation and have one of the above carriers, it's likely that your insurance plan will cover most of the cost associated with this evaluation.

What will my total cost be?
Please see our "Services and Pricing" page for more information. Most evaluations will cost only what is listed. However, some evaluations will involve more time, data gathering (e.g., record review), and testing. When applicable, we will provide a quote for the total cost of services that includes the estimated cost of the evaluation, record review, and transportation. We always attempt to provide a conservative cost estimate to avoid surprise costs in your evaluation.
Do you offer services on a sliding scale?
We do not have sliding scale services. However, we are willing to discuss fees in some cases.
Do you see children in your practice?
We do not see children (anyone under 18 years of age) in our practice.
How does payment work?
We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express) and cash. Although we do not accept personal checks, we accept checks from businesses (e.g., law firms, physician offices).
Do you offer virtual services?
Many of our evaluations are completed virtually. Since Drs. Anderson and Marek are licensed in the state of Texas, virtual evaluations are only conducted with individuals who are also located in Texas.
